3rd Grade Families: On Tuesday, April 25th, all 3rd grade students will have an opportunity to "step up" to 4th grade by visiting Barack Obama School of Leadership & STEM, touring the school, meeting 4th grade teachers, and learning more about where they will attend 4th grade for the 2023-2024 school year. Permission slips were sent home before spring break. We look forward to "stepping up" to the next grade level later this month.
Shout out to all of the families who completed the 5Essentials survey; we had over 215 students celebrate at our pizza, popcorn, and movie party this week!
Mrs. Hybert's kindergarten students are enjoying their fruits and vegetables that are delivered to Mohawk each week. They are trying new foods and expanding their pallets.

A 3rd grade Mohawk student celebrated #SELDay through practicing self management and self awareness with a cool down zone! They identify how they are feeling and then choose a cool down tool to help them regulate how they are feeling.
Mohawk's 3rd grade students are celebrating #SEL Day through demonstrating responsible decision making (making ethical, constructive choices about personal and social behavior) via journal writing.
