Tonight is Light's On Afterschool in X-STEAM. The event is to call attention to the importance of afterschool programs for America's children, families, and communities. We celebrated with a "Taste of Measurement" where children made recipes using their math skills!

Tuesday, October 17th, is an Early Dismissal Day. Students will be served lunch and dismissed at 12:30PM. All bus students will depart at 12:30pm. Pre-Kindergarteners with be dismissed at 10:45am. There will be no afternoon Pre-Kindergarten classes or X-STEAM.
There will be a 12:30 early dismissal on Tuesday October 3rd. All students will be dismissal at 12:30.
There will be no school this Thursday September 28th.

Subject: Addressing a Recent Incident of Concern
As the principal of Mohawk Primary Center, it is important that I inform the community that the primary commitment of our school is to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students. The survey that is posted on Facebook was not sanctioned or approved by the Board of Education or the administration. We, therefore, apologize for this communication. Black history remains an integral part of our curriculum and involves all students. As our year progresses, we welcome all community members to attend and participate in our Black History Program and all other events.

There will be a 9:25 AM late start for all students Tuesday, May 30th, through the last day of school on Monday, June 5th. Bus routes will start one hour later than usual. Doors will open at 8:55 AM for breakfast.
