Ms. Malinis's and Mrs. Rowland's students are "buzzing" with excitement this week as they continue their unit on insects. Ms. Malinis's students created bees while Mrs. Rowland's students beehives (and bees with their fingerprints). Excellent work, friends!

Ms. McLaughlin's class has caterpillars growing...perfecting timing for this week's Word on the Street: metamorphosis! It will be exciting to see these caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies in the future.

The students began their final themed unit of the school year this week: Insects! Mrs. Rowland's students participated in a "Build-a-Bug" activity while Ms. Lendi's students drew ants and identified insects. Excellent job, friends!
Amari (from Ms. McLaughlin's class) and his sister enjoyed releasing their butterflies "into the wild." Amari said, "They were really light and they tickled when they were on my hand." What an excellent way to bring the "Insects" unit to life!
