Hello SD 163 Families. September 18th is a 12:30 Early Dismissal Day. All students will log in at 8:30 a.m. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. There will be no afternoon pre-kindergarten classes. Breakfast and lunch is available for curbside pickup at all schools from 7:15-8:15 AM.

Good morning SD 163 Families. Today marks the first attendance day of the 2020-21 School Year. We realize that all families have not obtained technology. And our staff members will be engaged in remote planning days on Friday, August 21 and Monday, August 24th. Therefore, our teachers have created an excursion for all students. These excursions will include activities that can be completed with or without technology. Your child’s excursion will be posted in three different ways. 1. Via your child’s teachers class Dojo page. 2. All Excursion will be posted on the district website (Reopening School 20-21 and Under the ‘News Section’) 3. Excursions will be sent under the US Postal Service We are excited about a Reimagine 2020-21 School Year. We are looking forward to all students meeting their teachers on Tuesday, August 25. The Park Forest-Chicago Heights District 163 Virtual Graduation 2020 will air on the cable access channel at 7 PM and 9 PM every night (except for Mondays & Wednesdays) for the next couple of weeks. The cable access channel in Park Forest is channel 4 for Comcast subscribers and channel 99 for AT&T U-verse subscribers. Again, congratulations to the Class of 2020. Enjoy!

Hello District 163 Families! This message is being sent to communicate that on Thursday and Friday, May 21-22 teachers will be engaged in remote learning planning days. During these planning days, teachers will be unavailable for interactive remote learning instruction. We encourage families to use these 2 days to complete remote learning packets, explore educational websites, and practice reading and math fact fluency. Additionally, we will not have remote learning on Monday, May 25th in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. We will welcome our families back to our remote learning environments on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Stay safe and healthy!
