A resident of Park Forest since 2004, Allison R. McCray is married and the mother of three children. All of her children attend(ed) SD163 Schools. An employee of AT&T for 10 years, Mrs. McCray left her position in 2008. She has dedicated much of her free time to School District 163. She has served as the PTO treasurer and PTO president at Mohawk Intermediate Center and was a member of Forest Trail School’s PTO 2008-2013. Mrs. McCray also volunteered at Thorncreek Nature Center in Park Forest 2012-2017. She attended the Park Forest Civic Leadership Academy class of 2017 and was appointed to the Cable Commission in 2019. While working part-time at Hallmark Greeting Cards, Mrs. McCray earned degrees in business and liberal arts from DePaul University in spring 2016. She currently works as a Social Media/Marketing Specialist. Mrs. McCray was elected to the Board in 2013. She was elected vice president of the Board in 2015, completed Open Meetings Act, Performance Evaluation Reform Training (06/14/2013), holds the status of Master Board Member Maintained and has been elected by the Board to be the delegate at the IASB Delegate Assembly since 2013. She also acts as the SCOPE liaison for the Board and is on the SCOPE subcommittee for Social Injustice & Racial Disparities. Mrs. McCray was elected as a Director-At-Large for the IASB South Cook Division in 2019.

As a wife, mother and Grandmother, Kimberly Elmore-Perkins has served on a variety of Village boards, commissions, and tasks forces since 1997. Following her lead, her family members have volunteered and worked to support Park Forest in many ways. Kimberly Elmore-Perkins earned the status of Master Board Member during her previous tenure (2005-2009) and was re-elected to the Board in 2023. .
Mrs. Elmore-Perkins has been a resident within District 163 boundaries since 1993. Within a few months of moving into the area, she began to work with District 163 as the Director of the 4H Before and After School Program. This collaboration between the University of Illinois Extension, School District 163, and the Village of Park Forest was a latch-key program that served as a means to provide supervised child care. This program also provided homework support, arts and craft, physical and 4H activities during the times when parents/guardians had work or had other obligations. In 2004, Mrs. Elmore-Perkins served as a community member on the District’s 5-year Strategic Plan Committee. Mrs. Elmore-Perkins always enjoys judging for the 7th and 8th grade science fairs and other student activities. She has also worked for District 163 as a paraprofessional in the special education department and as a certified pre-kindergarten teacher at Algonquin School.

Jacqueline Jordan was elected to the Board of Education in 2021. She currently serves as the Board Assistant Secretary. Ms. Jordan previously served on the Board of Education from 2009 to 2019. Ms. Jordan is a long time resident of Park Forest.

Christina Dupee was elected to the Board of Education in 2019 and served as Assistant Board Secretary and district representative for the SPEED governing board. She is a resident of Park Forest and married mother of 3 young children, all of whom attend District 163 schools. Mrs. Dupee earned a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Chicago which focused on Sociology, Law, and Humanities, a Master of Teaching degree from National-Louis University, and a Master of Public Administration from Roosevelt University focusing on Nonprofit Administration and Political Science. Mrs. Dupee is currently writing the dissertation for her Doctor of Education in Higher Education degree at Roosevelt University. Mrs. Dupee’s teaching experience spans every grade level from pre-K to 4-year undergraduate college level. She believes that every student is capable of greatness and believes that children are our community’s most precious asset.

Takesha Howard was elected to the Board of Education in 2021. Ms. Howard has been a resident of Park Forest for eleven years. She is the proud parent of a District 163 graduate and a currently enrolled honor student. Ms. Howard attended Corliss High School in Chicago, Illinois and graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Sawyer College in Hammond, Indiana. Ms. Howard actively participates in community activities and events and has served on the District 163 Equity Committee. Ms. Howard loves to encourage students with this quote, “You can do anything you set your mind to.” Ms. Howard has completed the Basics of Governance training.

Mr. Mosby was re-elected to the school board in April, 2021, but previously served from May 2007 to May 2019. Mr. Mosby has also served as Alderman of the 1st Ward for the City of Chicago Heights for seven (7) years. One of the things that I am most proud of is that I am a product and graduate of School District 163 from kindergarten to eighth grade. With this great pride it gives me joy to give back to the community in which I live. The opportunity to enhance the lives of the students we serve is immeasurable.
