Recently re-elected to the school board in April, 2021, but previously served from May 2007 to May 2019. I also have served as Alderman of the 1st Ward for the city of Chicago Heights for 7 years.

One of the things that I am most proud of is that I am a product and graduate of this school district from kindergarten to eighth grade. With this great pride it gives me joy to give back to the community in which I live. The opportunity to enhance the lives of the students we serve is immeasurable.
