Dear Families of Mohawk’s 3rd Grade Students:
Monday, April 25th (the day we return from Spring Break) is Step-Up day for all third grade students. They will be visiting Barack Obama School of Leadership & STEM, which they will be attending next year for fourth grade. All third grade students will leave Mohawk (via a bus) by 8:45 AM and tour Barack Obama School from 9:00-10:20 AM. They will then re-board the bus and return to Mohawk by 10:30 AM. This visit will be chaperoned by third grade classroom teachers as well as other staff members.
***Please ensure your child arrives to Mohawk on time; buses will not wait for late students.***
Please dress students nicely for their visit and remind them to be on their best behavior. It is important that they make a good impression on their future teachers and principals. Also, please discuss possible questions that your students may ask while touring Barack Obama School of Leadership & STEM.
