Last week, each child who is mandated to attend summer school received a letter sent home. Please follow the instructions on the paper and complete. It is very important that the summer school application is completed. If your child does not attend summer school, it puts them at risk of retention. Summer School will begin June 12th - July 13th. Applications need to be completed and submitted not later than May 19th, 2023. I will be sending another document home today to those who did not complete the application. Friday, May 5th, 2023 at 4:00pm-5:00pm, Blackhawk will be hosting an all school showcase, the students' work will be displayed and presented to guest in the Library. Blackhawk is formally inviting everyone to join us, drinks and snacks will be distributed. February 1st will be the start of our Book Blast School Event. Book Blast is an event that gives students the opportunity to raise money towards books while given the chance to win prizes.
