Just a reminder today is X-steam's "Big Bang Celebration" Blackhawk students will be joined by 21st Century and Mohawk school for X-Steam field day. Student's will join together at 3:30p.m-5:30p.m (regular X-Steam hours) at Blackhawk Primary Center. This event is for X-Steam students only, if there are any questions or concerns, please call Mrs. Stone at 708-668-9502.

This is just a reminder tomorrow is the Lincoln Park Zoo field trip. Students will be departing from Blackhawk at 9:00a.m and will be returning at 2:00p.m. Please bring students on time to school in order for them to eat breakfast and load the buses. Tomorrow's weather will be at a high of 77 degrees please dress students appropriately. If your student needs a lunch, one will be provided, if you were selected as a chaperone, your student's teacher will contact you. Last week, each child who is mandated to attend summer school received a letter sent home. Please follow the instructions on the paper and complete. It is very important that the summer school application is completed. If your child does not attend summer school, it puts them at risk of retention. Summer School will begin June 12th - July 13th. Applications need to be completed and submitted not later than May 19th, 2023. I will be sending another document home today to those who did not complete the application.
