Monday 18th- Ugly Sweater/ Holiday sweaters
Tuesday: Dress 2 impress (Our holiday show at Michelle Obama 1:30p.m)
K-2nd grade: Wear all black including shoes
3rd grade boys: Wear white tops and black bottoms and shoes
3rd grade girls: Wear dresses
Wednesday: Dress like your inner rock star (The silent party)
Thursday: Grade character day
Kindergarten- Reindeer
1st- Snowmen
2nd-ELves
3rd- Candy canes
Staff- Gifts
Friday: Holiday pajamas
Hello, this is a reminder from School District 163. There is NO SCHOOL on December 25th- January 5th for Winter Break. School hours will resume Thursday, January 6th, which is a 12:30pm early release day. Enjoy!

Students will be served lunch and dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Pre-Kindergarten will be dismissed at 10:45 a.m. All bus riders will depart at 12:30 p.m. There will be no afternoon Pre-Kindergarten classes or X-STEAM.

Character Day is on October 31, 2023, from 1:00-2:45. We are having a parade around the building to show everyone our "Character Day" costumes. I am excited to see all of our students and staff bring book characters to Blackhawk Primary Center.
We are having our Fall Festival at 21st Century on October 31st from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
Tonight is Light's On Afterschool in X-STEAM. The event is to call attention to the importance of afterschool programs for America's children, families, and communities. We celebrated with a "Taste of Measurement" where children made recipes using their math skills!
