Hello Blackhawk Family,
Welcome back from Spring break. I hope that everyone remained safe and made many memories. Though Governor Pritzker has announced that Illinois public schools will be close for the remainder of 2019-2020 school year it is important to stay connected. Please use class dojo for support.

Happy Easter Sunday!!! 🐣

Greetings Blackhawk Parents, today is Census Day 2020. Don’t forget to fill out your census online at my2020census.gov. Schools and other local entities all depend on census data for funding. The information you provide will impact our community each day. Thank you for your support.

As a reminder, Blackhawk parents, we are offering curb-side free meals each week day from 9am-11am during these unprecedented times. Our students remain our #1 priority.

Please see the district website homepage for Superintendent’s updates regarding students’ participation in at-home learning activities. Stay safe.

We are excited about our Blackhawk Family Reading night. To celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday we have interactive Reading games and activities to stimulate our young readers and to excite them about the endless possibilities Reading can create.

Thank you to all the Blackhawk Parents who came out to celebrate “Special Person’s Day”. You are special to us and our Blackhawk students.

Thank you to all the parents who came out for parent teacher conferences. We appreciate everyone for taking our 5 essential survey. We value your opinions here at Blackhawk Primary Center.

Awesome turnout at our annual Blackhawk “Winter In Wonderland” event. Thank you to all the families for your support with making the event such a success. Our students were excited learning how to make a snowman, and playing with fake snow.

Congratulations to our Blackhawk December Students of the Month. Our focus this month was “responsibility”. Please join us as we celebrate our amazing scholars on their achievement.

We, here at Blackhawk Primary Center would like to wish all our valued stakeholders a Happy New Decade. #elevatingExcellence in 2020
