If your child is a bus rider, you can view in Skyward their bus number and bus stop. Telling your child their bus number is very helpful for a smooth dismissal.

Dress Code Reminder — Please Read
As we begin the school year, please ensure your child arrives each day dressed in accordance with the SD163 dress code policy on page 15 of the student handbook. This is a district requirement and will be enforced consistently. Students who are out of compliance may be asked to change. Thank you for your cooperation in making sure your child is prepared and ready to learn from day one.

Late start: 8/19-8/28. Doors open at 9:05am for breakfast. School begins at 9:25am. Dismissal is at 3:00pm.

By creating a flow of traffic from east to west- this will prevent cars moving in different directions so our children can cross the street safely. We appreciate your attention to this new process.

If your child gets dropped off or picked up in the mornings or afternoons, please recognize our new flow of traffic to ensure the safety of all of our students.
We are putting this measure in place to keep the flow of traffic in one direction and minimize the dangers of two-way traffic. Please remind your child to use our crossing guards when crossing the street.
In addition, any early pickups must take place prior to 2:30 pm. Students will not be released until after 3:00 PM.

The first day of school is August 17th. SD163 will implement a late start schedule the first two weeks of school from August 17- August 28th. Doors will open at 9:05 for breakfast. School begins promptly at 9:25.
Beginning August 31st, we will resume to our normal hours with doors opening at 7:50 for breakfast and school beginning promptly at 8:15.

Tomorrow our 4th/5th grades will be traveling to 21st Century at 10:00 for festivities from 10:30-12, and 6th grade will travel to Michelle at 11:30 for festivities from 12:00-2:30. No permission slip is needed for an in district field trip. Please contact your child's homeroom teacher or the main office for further questions. All students will eat lunch at our school.

Ms. Biciste's 4th grade students studied and have been tracking the results of the 2026 Milano Cortino Olympics. They each created Google slide presentation of their represented country and a winter Olympic sport of their choice. Then the students created a "jersey" for that country. In gym, they played bobsledding, hockey, curling, skiing, and Skelton!
Mid-Winter Break starts February 27th-March 2nd! Classes will resume March 3rd.
