	Walter Mosby President
	Virginia Ford Vice President Virginia Ford has been a Board of Education member for 12 years. Currently the Board’s Vice President, she has served as Board President and Secretary. Previously, she also served a term as Vice President. Mrs. Ford has been a resident of Park Forest for 36 years and her three children attended District 163 schools.
	Cheryl Franklin Secretary Cheryl Franklin was elected to the Board in April 2003 and re-elected in April 2007. She is a school secretary in School District 169 and she is a North Regional Director of the Illinois Association of Educational Office Professionals. Mrs. Franklin is a lifelong resident of Chicago Heights. She has a son who is a District 163 student and another son who is a District 163 graduate.

	Margaret McDannel Margaret McDannel has been a Board of Education member for 12 years and has served a term as Board President. For a number of years, Mrs. McDannel was Traffic and Security Manager for Gold Enterprise in Chicago Heights. She has been a resident of Park Forest since 1959.
	Melvin Pumphrey Melvin Pumphrey, a Chicago Heights resident, was appointed to the Board in 2005 to fill a vacancy. He was returned to the Board for a two-year term in the 2007 election. Countless hours of volunteering at Beacon Hill Primary Center piqued Mr. Pumphrey’s interest in the Board. A retired businessman, Mr. Pumphrey continues to volunteer his time in all of the District’s schools while tending to his Board duties. All Board members serve on the Board’s Policy Committee.
